He was a scrawny man with a distinctive face and a very distinctive voice who was always in high demand, not only in movies and on TV, but also doing much voice work, first on radio and later on TV. Some of his movies include: The Man With the Golden Arm, It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, My Sister Eileen, and They Got Me Covered, and he voiced the title role in TV's "Top Cat".
