An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Missing Millions, the 1922 Joseph Henabery silent romantic crime melodrama ("Adapted from 'A Problem in Grand Larceny' and 'An Answer in Grand Larceny' by Jack Boyle"; about a woman needing to steal money to help her father, and she enlists former crook Boston Blackie to help her do it) starring Alice Brady, David Powell (as Boston Blackie), Frank Losee, Riley Hatch, and John B. Cooke. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. Also note that this is one of ten silent movies made in the 1920s starring the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a reformed crook turned detective, which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. The character was revived in 1941 with Chester Morris playing Boston Blackie, and there were 14 movies in the 1940s. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
