Date Sold 2/13/2024Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Wild Babies, the 1932 Lloyd French and Robert McGowan romantic slapstick comedy short (one of the Hal Roach Boy Friend MGM comedies) starring Mickey Daniels, Grady Sutton, Mary Kornman, Charley Rogers, Charlie Hall, and Harry Bernard (as the "cannibal chef") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that in the 1920s to 1940s, black African American actors often sadly were only given stereotypical roles like butlers, maids, chauffeurs, and similar parts. But sadder than that is that they were often called upon to play African natives, and these were often done with ridiculous caricatures, including as cannibals trying to eat white people, as seen in this "funny" still, where the cannibal even has a chef's hat on. Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
