What IS linenbacking? Learn More

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had creases and tears at the top crossfold, and someone put a piece of tape on the back of that area, and that tape caused a yellow stain in Ryan's forehead. There are tears and tiny paper loss in the right half of the top foldline and a few scattered on the other foldlines. There was an NSS stamp on the back of the middle right of the poster that bled through to the front and some dot stains scattered in the area beneath it. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. While the poster was mounted onto linen well, the person who did so did little attempted restoration, and what was done was not done very well, so the above defects are very noticeable and distracting. Please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept its defects described above or are willing to pay to have further restoration.
