An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Acquanetta was an American actress named Mildred Davenport with an exotic look, and she re-invented herself under the single name of Acquanetta, with the nickname, "The Venezuelan Volcano", given to her by Universal Studios, even though she was born in Wyoming and never played a Latina! She went on to star in several Universal movies of the early 1940s, including Captive Wild Women, Jungle Woman, and Tarzan and the Leopard Woman. She wisely retired in the very early 1950s, and married a wealthy car dealer in Arizona, staying there until she passed away in 2004 at the age of 83. Condition: very good. The still has slightly darkened around the edges but it is otherwise in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
