What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had small paper loss at the crossfolds and some small tears and tiny areas of paper loss scattered in the vertical fold, with a 1/2" square area of paper loss in the left of the top horizontal fold and some tiny tears and tiny paper loss on the rest of the horizontal folds. It had pinholes and some paper loss in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
