1984 Winter Olympics (also known as XIV Olympic Winter Games) was a 1984 winter multi-sport event which took place from February 8th to the 19th in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia. It was the first Winter Olympic Games held in a socialist state, and the Sarajevo games have also been the only Olympics to be hosted by a Muslim-majority city.
