An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French Advertising Poster (31x47; measures 31 1/2" x 47" [80 x 119 cm]) (Learn More) Sonora Radio & Television was an American producer of radio products from the 1930s to the 1950s. The company was originally known as Sonora Phonograph, then Sonora Electrical Phono, Co. before renaming to Sonora Radio and Television Corporation in the late 1930s. They also exported radios and TVs to France from the 1930s to the 1950s. Artist: Arestein Condition: very good. The poster had a few scattered smudges and scuffs, and a few tears in the right of the top border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not at all distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
