An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Thirty by Forty Movie Poster (measures 30" x 40") (Learn More) Bullitt, the classic 1968 Peter Yates San Francisco California crime car chase action thriller ("The word 'cop' isn't written all over him - something more puzzling is."; "There are bad cops and there are good cops - and then there's Bullitt."; "Bullitt comes to this theatre soon. That ought to shake up the place pretty good. Not many freaky cops like Bullitt around. You look at the Italian shoes and the turtleneck and you have to wonder. You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Frank Bullitt - some other kind of cop. Pity the guy he works for."; "Based on the novel 'Mute Witness' by Robert L. Pike"; about a detective who drives a 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback while pursuing professional hitmen who murdered the wrong guy and let's not forget the really cool chase scenes!) starring Steve McQueen (in the title role "as Bullitt"), Robert Vaughn, Jacqueline Bisset, Don Gordon, Robert Duvall, Simon Oakland, and Norman Fell NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster is in really amazing condition! It has creases in the top left blank corner and the absolute most minor of creases within the image, but overall I can't imagine a 30x40 that is 35 years old surviving in better condition! Note that there is a printing defect down the extreme left edge of the left border. There are uneven orange and purple stains down that left edge. This was caused by the way the poster was printed, and is very common on posters of this era, and is likely on most examples of this poster. Since it is only in the left edge of the left blank border, I think most collectors consider it an insignificant defect! Learn More about condition grades
