Note that the poster features a parody of the famous Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima, with the New York Mets (who won the 1969 World Series) instead of Marines. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had very minor wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking. After the poster was backed, it was roughly handled, and it now has creases in the bottom of the left excess linen that extend into the bottom 3" of the poster. It also acquired a 3" diagonal crease in the right of the bottom border. One could certainly still display this fun poster in spite of its defects, but bear the above in mind before bidding on it.
