Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned one from this 1937 re-release in all our years of auctioning and that was 16 years ago (and that example was linenbacked and this one is not!). This is one of the many United Artists titles from the very early 1930s where first release movie paper is incredibly rare. This is because United Artists only handled its initial release and then it was re-released by other companies. It is likely that whatever first release paper still existed was destroyed at the time of the re-release. We have only auctioned a first release window card and no other first release posters, and they are beyond rare. This poster has a great image (which may be the same as from the first release one-sheet), and it will certainly look great onthe new owner's wall!

Condition: good to very good. There are pinholes around the edges and smudges in the corners. There is small separation at the top and bottom crossfolds, with tiny paper loss at the top crossfold. There are some minor creases on parts of the other folds. There is a partial extra vertical fold 1" to the right of the vertical fold between the top and bottom crossfolds. After a relatively simple linenbacking, this beautiful poster will display wonderfully!
