An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Dulcy, the 1923 Sidney Franklin silent romantic comedy ("The story of a delightful dumb-belle"; based on the play by George S. Kaufman and Marc Connelly; based on a cute play about a scatterbrained wife who invites two of her husband's business prospects to dinner, and although she does everything wrong, she ends up getting her husband new deals) starring Constance Talmadge (in the title role as Dulcy), Claude Gillingwater, Jack Mulhall, May Wilson, and John Harron. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different scene card from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this lobby card! Also note that the other lobby card we auctioned had a completely different design and no color. We think that one of the two sets predates the other, but it is possible that this color card came after the black & white cards, so we are leaving them both as original release (and it may be that one is from the very first release and the other is from a continuous first release). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good.
