Kenton detective crime murder mystery screwball comedy ("Their newest fun-riot...!"; "Original Story, Stanley Roberts"; about two dumb soda jerks who dream about writing mysteries for radio shows; they go to the station to pitch their ideas, and end up in the middle of a real murder investigation when the radio station owner is killed) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Patric Knowles, William Gargan, Louise Allbritton, William Bendix, Mary Wickes, Don Porter, and Ludwig Stossel. Note that in the movie, Abbott and Costello wear deerstalker hats, because of their association with legendary fictional detective Sherlock Holmes. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is an incomplete pressbook. There are loose pages from the pressbook (we have indicated the number of pages below), but there are surely pages missing (we don't know how many, because we have no other example to compare it to). Please do not bid on this item thinking it is a complete pressbook as it is an incomplete group of loose pages from the original pressbook! Condition: good. there are an unknown number of pages missing; someone wrote on the newspaper columns on one of the pages and put a red "X" through Abbott and Costello's image; the back cover of the pressbook has a tear in the middle of the right border that does not affect the poster images This item is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good" or "good to very good", or in the case of items with major defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair")! It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right (although some of the defects may not be so easily seen in the images).
