An Original Vintage 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" [8 x 14 cm] Postcard (Learn More) Spike Jones (born Lindley Armstrong Jones) was a bandleader (Spike Jones and His City Slickers) and he and his band appeared in a few movies from the 1940s to the 1960s. Some of the movies include: The Spike Jones Show, Fireman Save My Child, and Ladies' Man. He passed away in 1965 at the age of 53. Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a wonderful group of sixteen full-color postcards that were created by RCA in the early 1940s. Each features a major musician or vocalist who recorded through RCA, and each of the cards has a wonderful full-color portrait of that individual or group, or each has their name printed at the bottom with an image of the RCA dog and Victrola (see our images).
