An Original Vintage Television Script (measures 8 1/2" x 11" [22 x 28 cm], 39 pages) (Learn More) Gilligan's Island, the 1964 - 1967 Sherwood Schwartz shipwreck castaway tropical island comedy television (TV) series starring Bob Denver (in the title role as Gilligan), Alan Hale Jr. (as Jonas 'The Skipper' Grumby), Jim Backus (as Thurston Howell III), Natalie Schafer (as Mrs. Lovey Howell), Tina Louise (as Ginger Grant), Russell Johnson (as Professor Roy Hinkley), and Dawn Wells (as Mary Ann Summers) Important Added Info: Note that this TV script is the revised draft from December 22, 1964 (for the episode "Big Man on a Little Stick") and the screenplay was written by Charles Tannen, Lou Huston & David P. Harmon. Included with the script is a call sheet from this episode. Note that this script (and 36 others we are auctioning in separate auctions) were acquired by mega Tarzan collector Phil Petras from his good friend Denny Miller. Mr. Miller, a former screen Tarzan, did much TV work in the 1960s, and he saved his copies of scripts (and a few scripts that he was sent but he did not appear in the filmed episode, or the script was never filmed), and he sold them all to Mr. Petras. Many of his scripts have his name written on the cover, and many have his character's dialog highlighted, and some have some comments from Mr. Miller written on the cover or within!
