Some of his movies include: Save The Tiger (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), The Apartment (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Some Like It Hot (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Mister Roberts (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Days of Wine & Roses, The Odd Couple, Missing (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), China Syndrome (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and many more! He had an extremely distinguished career, and he was equally talented in dramatic and comedic roles, and he alternated between them throughout his career. Lemmon passed away in 2001 at the age of 76. Note that this is one of a wonderful collection of 91 items that were assembled by a collector decades ago, mostly from RR Auctions, which has auctioned signed items since 1976. The person who purchased these items passed away several years ago, and while he did not save most of the certificates of authenticity he received when he bought these signed items, almost all were purchased between the late 1970s and the early 1990s, and we think it is extremely likely that the autograph on this item is genuine.
