An Undated (probably 1960s) Re-release Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 21" x 40") (Learn More) Flying Tigers, the 1942 David Miller World War II (WWII) military airplane aviation pilot dogfight action thriller ("Headed for the greatest entertainment ovation given a motion picture in years..."; "Strong brave men flying in the face of death that we may live"; "See these sky-devils revenge Pearl Harbor and strike terror to Tokyo"; "Original Story by Kenneth Gamet"; about the Flying Tigers, the remarkable American volunteer group which flew missions against the Japanese in China before America's entry into World War II) starring John Wayne, John Carroll, Anna Lee, Paul Kelly, Gordon Jones, Bill Shirley, Mae Clarke, Tom Neal, "and a cast of thousands" NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that for this undated 1960s re-release, the distributor used a black & white image of the original 1942 three-sheet. Because a three-sheet is sized differently from a one-sheet, there was a large blank white border on the left and right of the poster. On this particular poster, someone trimmed off almost the entire left and right excess border, so that the poster had even borders all around, but it means it now measures 21" x 40". Condition: good. Much of the left and right blank borders have been trimmed off . Someone colored in the "J" of "JOHN WAYNE" at the top of the poster. Learn More about condition grades
