An Undated (probably late 1940s) Re-Release Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 28 5/8" [51 x 73 cm]) (Learn More) Le Grand Jeu (literally translates to "The Great Game", but it was released in English as "The Full Deck"), the 1934 Jacques Feyder French Foreign Legion romantic love triangle military melodrama (about a Frenchman who joins the French Foreign Legion because he can't marry the woman he loves, but then he meets a saloon girl who reminds him of the girl he was running away from, and when he later gets an inheritance, he intends to return to France to marry his former girlfriend, but he finds he can't forget the saloon girl, so he stays in the Foreign Legion, with tragic results) starring Marie Bell, Pierre Richard-Willm, Georges Pitoeff, Francoise Rosay (wife of director Jacques Feyder), Camille Bert, and Charles Vanel If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube.
