Somerset Maugham; the old story of the wife of a pilot who falls in love with his best friend, and they are both too decent to do anything about it, so the husband volunteers for a suicide mission so that the lovers can be together!) starring Kay Francis, Errol Flynn, Ian Hunter, Frieda Inescort, Herbert Mundin, and G.P. Huntley NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this title card, and only one in the last 12 years (and that last example sold for $410)! Note that there is a stamp on the back that reads "FROM THE COLLECTION OF Michael R. Hawks", who most would consider the premier lobby card collector and expert in the world (and he is still an active collector, looking for the last few items he needs!). Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The card has darkened, typical of Warner Bros. lobby cards of this period. It has scuffs scattered in the lower half of the card, mostly to the left and right of the stars, but with one in Flynn's cheek and one in Francis' cheek extending slightly into Flynn's face. It has creases and tiny surface paper loss in the left of the top blank border and someone put a piece of tape on the back of that area. Learn More about condition grades
