An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Rainbow Over Texas, the 1946 Frank McDonald singing cowboy western musical ("Ridin'... the Texas range... Singin'... songs you'll love... Romancin'... as only Roy can do!"; "Based on a magazine story by Max Brand") starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The Smartest Horse in the Movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Sheldon Leonard, Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers, and Kenne Duncan NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. Some complete idiot scratched an "X" over Roy Rogers' face and hat (the center of the "X" was in his forehead). Otherwise, the poster was in pretty nice condition prior to paperbacking. During the paperbacking process, the "X" over Rogers' face and hat was incredibly minimized. If you stare at his face, you can faintly see that there were scratches there, but I think few people would even notice at all if they were looking at the poster from one foot away. I don't want to pretend that this defect is not there, but I truly think anyone could display this poster on their wall, and next-to-nobody would notice the defect! Learn More about condition grades
