A Linenbacked Travel Poster (measures 30 1/4" x 39 3/4" [77 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) American Airlines: Texas, the 1950s - 1960s (see below) airplane airline aviation travel poster encouraging people to use American Airlines when flying to the U.S. state of Texas, and featuring Martin Glanzman art of longhorn cows, Texas sights and an airplane. Note that this poster was first used around 1953 and included Joseph Charles Parker artwork of a DC-7 propeller-driven aircraft. The poster was used again in the 1960s but the DC-7 was replaced with an image of a jet (perhaps a Boeing 707).
