The studios created both 3D and 2D posters and lobby cards (the 2-D posters and lobby cards were for theaters that lacked the 3-D equipment). This poster is from the "3-D" release. Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Also note that there is a studio-issued snipe over the "3-D" area at upper left (no doubt because this theater did not show the movie in 3-D; the snipe reads "That 'Shane' killer excites again", referring to Jack Palance's recent big triumph in "Shane").
