Ferguson's novel of the same name") starring Jack Pickford (in the title role as Billy Garrison), Madge Bellamy, Clarence Burton, Charles Ogle, Charles A. Stevenson NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Black African Americans were discriminated against in movies in the 1910s and early 1920s to the extent that sometimes roles for black men were played by white men in blackface makeup! Obviously, this is incredibly "politically incorrect", but what makes this card even worse is that it plays on one of the oldest black stereotypes, which is that black people love watermelon, and the "black" waiter is eyeing the watermelon in the scene! Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good.
