God Told Me To (also released as "Demon!"), the 1976 Larry Cohen science fiction (sci-fi) Satanic crime horror mystery thriller ("The people of this city are being terrorized. The crimes have no motives. The killers have one explanation...GOD TOLD ME TO";"Conceived In A HELL Beyond Our GALAXY, Destined To Rule Our World!"; "It Will Give You Nightmares Forever"; "Don't let it control you"; "WARNING this film contains scenes of violence and intense horror"; "Written, Directed and Produced by Larry Cohen") starring Tony Lo Bianco, Sandy Dennis, Sylvia Sidney, Sam Levene, Robert Drivas, Mike Kellin, Richard Lynch, and Deborah Raffin (billed as "Guest Star Deborah Raffin"). Note that Larry Cohen had much success in TV in the 1960s, with many serious shows, including "The Defenders". In the early 1970s, he took a major shift in his writing focus, and he had great success with blaxploitation movies like "Black Caesar" and "Hell Up in Harlem", and then he shifted yet again in the early 1980s, directing and writing the "It's Alive" horror movies!
