She specialized in playing strong leading ladies who often did not need men in their lives, and she certainly helped inspire the feminist movement! Her first movie was "Paris Bound" in 1929. Some of her other movies include: It Happened on 5th Avenue, The Magnificent Yankee, When Ladies Meet, Christmas Eve, The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit, and Holiday (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film). She passed away in 1981 at the age of 79. Important Added Info: This letter (dated February 18th, 1943) is between Ann Harding and Crescent Productions changing some of the terms of Miss Harding's agreement to be in "The North Star". It has been signed by Ann Harding and by Marvin A. Ezzell (Vice President of Crescent Productions). The contract has 2 single-sided pages. Condition: very good to fine.
