Zanuck; later turned into the hit Broadway musical and movie, "The King and I") starring Irene Dunne (in the title role as Anna), Rex Harrison (in the title role as the King of Siam; his first American role, in yellowface!), Linda Darnell, Lee J. Cobb, Gale Sondergaard (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Mikhail Rasumny, Dennis Hoey, Tito Renaldo, Richard Lyon, and Laurette Luez. Note that Darnell's character is burned at the stake for leaving the king. Tragically, Darnell herself would die in a house fire 19 years later. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There is staining in the bottom border and a few pinholes around the edges. Otherwise, the card is in nice condition.
