Sir - Don't Waste While Your Wife Saves, the 1917 U.S. World War I (WWI) Home Front poster ("Adopt the doctrine of the clean plate - do your share"; "United States Food Administration") encouraging citizens to help the war effort by conserving food, and featuring William Crawford Young art of a rich man wasting food at a fancy restaurant as waiters look on in disapproval.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had a horizontal fold in the upper image. It had some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss in parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. When the poster was backed, it acquired some tiny ripples in the upper left background area, which are not that noticeable, and could be corrected without re-backing the poster.
