Artist: Francisco Diaz Moffitt Important Added Info: Note that this Mexican poster measures 27 1/4" x 37 1/4" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had minute paper loss at the crossfolds and slight separation on the top and bottom foldlines. There was a small scuff mark in the woman's hair at right center. There were a couple of tiny areas of paper loss in the right blank border. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well.
