An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) A Torch Tango, the 1934 Alfred J. Goulding (billed as "Sam White") musical comedy short ("A Musicomedy") starring Ruth Etting, Will Ahern, Adrian Rosley, Eddie Hart, and Mathilde Comont. Of course, Ruth Etting was a stage and screen singer and actress from the 1920s to the 1930s. Her life was told (in a fictionalized version) in the movie, "Love Me or Leave Me", starring Doris Day. She passed away in 1978 at the age of 80. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this one-sheet, and that was 22 years ago! That poster has now been reconsigned to us after all these years, so this is still the only example of this poster we have ever auctioned! Condition: very good. The poster was lightly folded in half an extra time. It has tiny separation and the tiniest of paper loss at the crossfolds, and some tiny bits of paper loss in the right of the bottom horizontal fold.
