Date Sold 7/2/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Lorraine of the Lions, the 1925 Edward Sedgwick silent adventure thriller melodrama ("The amazing dramatic spectacle"; from the story by Isadore Bernstein; about a girl stranded on an island and raised by animals; she is eventually rescued, along with her friend, an ape, and reintroduced to society) starring Norman Kerry, Patsy Ruth Miller (in the title role as the adult Lorraine), Fred Humes (as the adult ape Bimi!), Doreen Turner (in the title role as the young Lorraine), Harry Todd, and Walter Brennan (uncredited in his second movie role!). Note that Fred Humes also played a gorilla in 1928's Circus Rookies, and did so in a total of five movies between 1925 and 1944. We don't know if he owned an ape suit or borrowed one from the several other actors who specialized in ape roles! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
