An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Swedish Movie Poster (measures 27 3/4" x 39 1/2") (Learn More) The Masks of the Devil, the 1928 Victor Sjostrom (billed as "Victor Seastrom"; he was a major Swedish director of the 1910s and 1920s, and late in his life, he turned to acting, giving memorable performances in several Ingmar Bergman movies, most notably "Wild Strawberries") romantic melodrama ("From the book 'The Masks of Erwin Reiner' by Jakob Wasserman"; about a playboy who endlessly chases beautiful women; there are scenes where he stares into a mirror and his thoughts can be heard where he confesses how badly he has behaved!) starring John Gilbert ("His Most Fiery Romance"), Alma Rubens, Theodore Roberts, Frank Reicher, Eva von Berne, Ralph Forbes, Ethel Wales, and Polly Ann Young. Condition: very good to fine. There are a few small tears in the borders (some of which have clear tape on the back), and there is darkening in the top of the right blank border, but otherwise, the poster is in really nice condition!
