The Adventurous Blonde, the 1937 Frank McDonald detective reporter mystery comedy (the third in a series of nine movies with Glenda Farrell as Torchy Blane) starring Glenda Farrell (in the title role as Torchy Blane), Barton MacLane, Anne Nagel, Tom Kennedy, and Natalie Moorhead. Note that the first Torchy Blane movie was made in 1937, called "Smart Blonde", and it starred Glenda Farrell in the lead role. There were a total of nine Torchy Blane movies. Farrell played the lead in seven of them. In two of the ones near the end of the series, Jane Wyman and Lola Lane filled in for Farrell, perhaps because she had other commitments. The series only lasted for two years, but was quite popular.

Condition: good to very good. There are water stains that have slightly darkened the paper scattered down the left and right borders, slightly extending into the background in a few places. There is a 1" tear 3" to the right of the middle crossfold, and separation and tiny paper loss at each crossfold.
