Date Sold 6/11/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 3 Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Cards (LCs; measure 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Under Two Flags, the 1922 Tod Browning silent French Foreign Legion romantic love triangle adventure melodrama ("The Picture Magnificent"; "From the immortal novel by Ouida"; about an Englishman who joins the French Foreign Legion because he has taken the blame for a crime his brother committed, and he has to contend with a ruthless commanding officer, and he has to choose between a sleazy nightclub singer named "Cigarette" and a refined Englishwoman) starring Priscilla Dean (as Cigarette), James Kirkwood, John Davidson, Stuart Holmes, and Ethel Grey Terry. Note that this movie was remade in 1936 with Ronald Colman and Claudette Colbert in the lead roles. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that first release U.S. movie paper items for this title are incredibly rare! We have only sold two U.S. 8x10 stills and one glass slide for this movie (and otherwise only two foreign posters) until we were consigned these lobby cards in 2018, and that same group has been reconsigned to us for this auction! Note also that each card has been trimmed and measure slightly less than 11" x 14". Condition: good to very good. Each of the cards have been slightly trimmed along portions of the right and left blank borders and partially along the lower blank border. They have a few pinholes around the edges, but otherwise, especially given their age, they are in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
