Seitz Andy Hardy family relationship comedy ("Mickey Woos! Judy Sings! Best Hardy Hit Yet!"; one of the series of "Hardy Family" movies about Andy Hardy, his judge father, and the rest of his family; note that, in the first entries of this series, the judge father and his wife were the center of the movies, and the children had secondary roles, but Mickey Rooney's character quickly became extremely popular, and became the focus of the series) starring Lewis Stone (as Judge Hardy), Mickey Rooney (in the title role as Andy Hardy), Fay Holden, Ann Rutherford, Sara Haden, Patricia Dane, Ray McDonald, and Judy Garland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small holes at each crossfold. There was tape on the back of the top of the vertical foldline and a small area of paper loss in the bottom of the "JU" of "JUDY" at the top center of the poster. There were some tears, pinholes, and small areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster and some wear along the foldlines. The above defects were well corrected during linenbacking, and the poster looks quite nice! Learn More about condition grades
