NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bob McCall Important Added Info: Note that this is a special 11 1/4" x 25 3/4" standee that was created for the world premiere of this Cinerama movie at the Uptown Theatre in Washington, D.C. Naturally, all seats were reserved for this world premiere performance, as indicated on the standee. This standee (which was created on a stiff board) has two paper snipes glued to it that both reference the world premiere, and since we have never auctioned another example of this standee, we don't know if they would be on other examples of it, but they likely were. One could have either or both of the snipes professionally removed, but to us, that would be a giant mistake, since they guarantee that this very rare standee was actually used for the premiere! But the new owner will make that decision. Condition: good to very good. The poster has two paper snipes attached (see above). It originally had two standee backings on the back of the left and right, no doubt to allow it to be displayed standing up on a counter, but one of those is partially missing (it could be easily replicated, although it is likely the new owner will choose to frame this). The front of the poster has slight tiny stains in the blank borders and tiny paper loss in the bottom right corner. It has faint stains and scuffs in the middle of the first "0" of "2001" (see our image). It has never had any sort of restoration. Learn More about condition grades
