An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 22" [36 x 56 cm]) (Learn More)

Heaven With a Barbed Wire Fence, the 1939 Ricardo Cortez Arizona romantic love triangle hobo adventure melodrama ("Screen Play by Dalton Trumbo, Leonard Hoffman and Ben Grauman Khon"; a wacky story of a young New York man trying to get to Arizona where he owns a ranch, but he ends up involved with lots of hobos, including a pretty girl disguised as a boy, and after many adventures, he ends up at his ranch, only to find it is a complete mess, but the girl shows up and tells him they will make it beautiful together!) starring Jean Rogers, Raymond Walburn, Marjorie Rambeau, Glenn Ford (4th billed because it was his first movie, but he is actually the star of it), and Richard Conte (billed under his real name "Nicholas Conte", in his first movie!). Note that this was Glenn Ford's very first movie, and it looked like he would become a major star, but then he served in World War II, and when he got out, he, against all odds, was able to successfully resume his career, and after 1946's "Gilda", became a giant star! It was also Richard Conte's first movie!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this window card was never folded. Often window cards would be folded across the middle, because that would make them 11" x 14", and they could then be sent with standard folded posters. Most collectors put an added value on a window card that has never been folded.

Condition: fair. The card has staining scattered throughout, with nail holes in the top and some surface paper loss around the edges and in the bottom solid colored area. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration. But the poster is mostly "all there", and after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look fantastic, and it will likely require little paint restoration within the image.
