Hunsucker in The Sweet Smell of Success (which was originally written by Ernest Lehman, who had worked for Winchell in the 1930s). Winchell also had a popular radio show, and his voice was incredibly distinctive, and when The Untouchables became a TV show, Winchell was chosen to narrate the show in his distinctive style! He passed away in 1972 at the age of 74. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Walter Winchell! Our consignor is a longtime dealer who acquired this signed item among many other purchases in his inventory, and he does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic.
