It had smudges, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges with a 3" tear near the center of the top border, ending just above the man's head. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but it was roughly handled after it was backed, and there are now creases in the excess linen at left and right. Learn More about condition grades
