(Learn More) House of Dracula, the 1945 Erle C. Kenton Universal vampire monster horror thriller ("All new... AND House of Frankenstein, the 1944 Erle C. Kenton Universal monster horror thriller ("All together...!"; "Frankenstein's Monster! The Wolf Man! Dracula! The Hunchback! The Mad Doctor!") starring Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney Jr. (as Lawrence Talbot, the Wolfman), John Carradine (as Dracula), J. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two different examples of this 1945 first release title card (we auctioned one of those examples twice), so this is only the third example we have ever auctioned (the last example was only in "good" condition, and it sold for $1,425)! Also included with the slabbed card is the original printed brown paper bag in which the lobby card set was originally sent to theaters. Note that this is a movie paper item that was "authenticated" and "graded" by CGC, the famous authenticator of comic books. They gave it a grade of "9.6", and encased it in a mylar sleeve, with an informative strip one on border, and three punch holes another border. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: very good. The lobby card (which has been slabbed (see above) was quite likely displayed in a frame at one time and it has some slight uneven darkening in the blank borders (due to when it was matted), but it is otherwise in quite nice condition. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! The brown paper bag has some wear, typical of brown paper bags used to hold lobby card sets. Learn More about condition grades
