An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Presskit (measures 9" x 12" [23 x 30 cm]; contains 20 supplements, and 28 stills) (Learn More) The Fury, the 1978 Brian De Palma psychic abilities kidnapping suspense thriller ("An experience in terror and suspense."; "Screenplay by John Farris, Based upon his novel") starring Kirk Douglas, John Cassavetes, Carrie Snodgress, Charles Durning, Amy Irving (in her second movie role!), Andrew Stevens, and Daryl Hannah (in her first movie role; she did not receive credit on the movie paper!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a special presskit because it was sent to Nevart Apikian, who was a movie reviewer for the Syracuse Post Standard. Ms. Apikian was given special treatment by the studios, and we have a presskit from Alien that she was given that includes a ticket to the premiere of that movie! It is important to note that several of the supplements have areas underlined or noted on the fronts and some of the supplements have long handwritten information on the backs by Ms. Apikian, from when she conducted telephone interviews with people connected to the movie! Note that we have taken a picture of the cover of the presskit and eight of the stills (less than eight if the presskit has less than eight stills, of course). We have noted if the presskit contains any supplements, but we do not picture them. All of the presskits are sealed and ready to be sent, and we cannot answer any questions about the contents, especially about what any stills we may have not pictured show. REMEMBER TO LOOK AT THE TOP OF THIS AUCTION TO SEE HOW MANY STILLS ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS PRESSKIT, BECAUSE WE NEVER PICTURE MORE THAN EIGHT OF THEM (and we pretty much picked eight stills at random). Condition: very good to fine. The stills are in nice condition. The supplements have the handwritten notes as described above, but we consider this a significant addition and not in any way a defect.
