An Original Vintage Theatrical Deluxe 10" x 13" Movie Still (Learn More) Woman of the Year, the classic 1942 George Stevens newspaper journalism baseball sports romantic comedy ("The picture of the year!"; "Original screen play by Ring Lardner, Jr., and Michael Kanin") starring Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Fay Bainter, Reginald Owen, Minor Watson, William Bendix, Roscoe Karns, Agnes Moorehead, and Grant Withers. Note that this was the first of nine movies real life lovers Tracy and Hepburn starred in together, and many people consider it the best of the nine! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Also note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off.
