An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 28" x 41" [71 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Killer Klowns from Outer Space (also known as "Killer Klowns"), the 1988 Charles & Edward Chiodo science fiction (sci-fi) alien circus clown fantasy horror comedy ("Alien bozos with an appetite for close encounters!"; "It's Craazzy") starring Grant Cramer, Suzanne Snyder, John Allen Nelson, Royal Dano and John Vernon ("as Officer Mooney") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Greg Winters Important Added Info: Note that the last time we auctioned an example of this poster (that, like this example, also measured 28" x 41") it sold for $1,373! We also have previously auctioned four examples that measured 27" x 41". Why does this poster measure differently? Our consignor (who also consigned the previous example) says that his father worked for a printer for thirty years and was given this poster at his work. Therefore, it seems extremely likely that it is some kind of printer's test, because often those test posters measured wider. There is also unevenness to the emulsion on the poster which is more "felt" than seen, and that too is consistent with being a printer's test (and the previous example had the same emulsion issue). but we can't say for certain that it is a preinter's test, so please do not bid on this poster unless you can accept this uncertainty. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few light creases in some areas. It has unevenness to the emulsion described above, but it is truly not that noticeable except when you look at the poster tilted to the light or when you feel it with your fingers.
