Date Sold 2/4/2018 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 5 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) FDR: That Man in the White House, the 1978 Gerald Krell made-for-TV (television) presidential biography melodrama ("An American who was not always admired in his time... But must be honored in ours") starring Robert Vaughn ("as FDR", Franklin Delano Roosevelt). Note that this movie is somewhat of a mystery! Robert Vaughn played Roosevelt in a one man play that ran sometime in the 1970s, and it appears to have been filmed in 1978, but not shown on HBO until 1982 (this would often happen when the filmed version of a play could not be shown until after the play had completed its run). But this item has NSS information indicating it is from 1978 and it appears to have been intended for a theatrical release in that year, but we can find no record of such a release (perhaps they were planning on releasing it internationally, and then the play producers stopped that).
