Sun Drop is a citrus-flavored soft drink from 1949 to the present. Sun Drop was developed in Missouri, by Charles Lazier, and competed primarily against Mello Yellow and Mountain Dew. The drink is known for it's high caffeine content, and was marketed in several Southern states under names such as "Sundrop Golden Cola" or "Golden Girl Cola."
