A Group Of 2 Original Vintage Unfolded [War] Posters (measure 28" x 40" [71 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Enlist Now, U.S. Marine Corps, the 1952 U.S. Korean War Marines USMC military recruitment posters ("The Marshalls, first pre-war Japanese territory to be conquered in World War II, fell to Marine and Army troops in February 1944. Fourth Division Marines crushed the enemy on Roi and Namur atolls, while the 22nd Marines drove to victory at Eniwetok."; "Tarawa"; "At Tawara, Japan's garrison was confident of stopping the United States' great amphibious drive. The Second Marine Division, Reenforced [sic], assaulted that gun-laden atoll on Nov. 20, 1943, and in 76 hours of flaming battle silenced the last Japanese gun and raised the Stars and Stripes.") encouraging people to enlist in the Marines, and featuring art of soldiers in battle by Lt. Col. D. Dickson & Sgt. H.A. Jackson. Note that these recruitment posters were originally used in 1945, and later re-released in 1952. Artist: Lt. Col. D. Dickson & Sgt. H.A. Jackson Condition: good. The posters were never folded. They have many creases scattered throughout and some slight discoloration along the upper edge (where there is also a larger tear, and there are some smaller ones that have been repaired with tape from the back.)
