In 1968, her husband and manager passed away, and she discovered he had squandered all her money! She sued a man who her husband had invested with, and she was awarded $22 million, and she never made another movie, but she had "The Doris Day Show" on TV from 1968 to 1973. Since 1980, she devoted her life to helping animals with the Doris Day Animal League. Some of her movies include: The Man Who Knew Too Much, Pillow Talk (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Love Me or Leave Me, Lover Come Back, The Pajama Game, and many more. She passed away in 2019 at the age of 97. Important Added Info: Note that this item has been personally autographed (signed) by Doris Day (it is on her personal stationery)!
