An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") (Learn More) Rio Grande, the 1938 Sam Nelson Texas singing cowboy western musical ("Charles Starrett drilling daylight through bad-men! Filling moonlight with sweet songs!"; "Galloping fury rocks the West!"; "Fighting fury rocks the West...in a nerve-lashing blast of hot lead and cold terror!") starring Charles Starrett, Ann Doran, Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers ("Famous Radio Stars"), and Dick Curtis NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. The poster had a quarter-sized area of paper loss at the top crossfold. There were creases, tears, and areas of paper loss along the bottom 3/4 of the vertical foldline and across the bottom two foldlines. There were creases, tears, and some areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was quite nicely backed, and you really don't notice the restoration that was performed at all, and yet the poster in no way has a heavily restored look to it.
