You bet it is!!"; "Hell-raisin' color"; "Based upon a novel by Roy Chanslor"; produced by Harold Hecht; about a beautiful woman who goes to her father's ranch, and then he is killed, and she and some employees and a washed up ex-outlaw track down the killer) starring Jane Fonda (in the title role as Cat Ballou), Lee Marvin (winner of the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; playing a dual role as Kid Shelleen and Tim Strawn), Michael Callan, Dwayne Hickman, Nat 'King' Cole, Stubby Kaye, Nick Cravat, and Reginald Denny NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Italian one-panel measures 38 1/4" x 54" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were extremely well restored, OR it had some very minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). Note that we gave this condition grade to a very few posters that were in pretty good condition prior to linenbacking, but which were not all that well linenbacked, and which could be fairly easily re-backed with only minor additional restoration. The poster had some creases, smudges, and tiny tears on some foldlines and tiny paper loss at some crossfolds. There were pinholes in the borders. There were some tiny holes in the middle of the right blank border that formed numbers. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
