Ice-Capades of 1947, the 1947 Chester Hale ice skating musical entertainment show ("7th edition") starring Hugh Forgie, Stig Larson, Al Surette, The Benoit Sisters, Nate Walley, and Chuckie Stein. Note that this began in 1941, not to be confused with the Hollywood Ice Revue (started by Sonja Henie in 1936). The producers of this show hired famed illustrator George Petty to do the covers of many of their programs in the 1940s. We know this ice show lasted into the 1950s (at least). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
