Date Sold 10/1/2017Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 10 lobby cards from Bob Hope movies. Bob Hope was a top Hollywood comedian and actor from the 1930s through the 1990s. Some of his movie roles include: Story of G.I. Joe, The Cat and the Canary, The Muppet Movie, The Ghost Breakers, My Favorite Blonde, and the "Road" movies he made with Bing Crosby and Dorothy Lamour, including Road to Morocco. In spite of his great success, Hope never won an Oscar, although he hosted several of the Oscar telecasts! Hope was also well known outside of movies, especially for his entertaining of U.S. troops overseas, and for his charity golf tournament. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s to the 1950s. We do not provide a list of these items, but there are images of all of them. Condition: very good. Most of the lobby cards are in "very good" condition. A few have enough wear that they would qualify as "good to very good" or "good", and some are better than "very good".
